The Beaufort Academy boys soccer teams practice and compete at the JV and Varsity levels during the spring season. The teams consist of male athletes in grades 7-12, and practice at BA.
The Beaufort Academy soccer program has a deep rooted and rich history filled with state championships. Since 1973 the Beaufort Academy's boys soccer teams have won 18 fall state championships and 5 spring state championships. The boys soccer team plays in both the fall and spring soccer seasons, playing against class 1A, 2A, and 3A schools through out South Carolina. The team has also participated in tournaments in North Carolina and Georgia. We offer a junior varsity team during the fall season for middle school students through sophomores in high school.
The goal at the junior varsity level is chiefly developmental, although these teams are very competitive in league play. Basic individual ball control skills are emphasized, to help each player develop and grow as a player. The varsity level team is more competitive than the junior varsity level as individual skills are further developed. Good sportsmanship and team play is expected from all members of the boys' soccer program to add to the overall development as both players and individuals.
