LOWER SCHOOL
OVERVIEW: The
Lower School at Beaufort Academy includes Pre-Kindergarten through
4th grade. The Lower School students are provided with an excellent
core foundation of skills which will help them to become successful
students throughout their academic career. The classrooms provide a
variety of learning experiences through hands-on activities, field
trips, projects, and much more! The low student-to-teacher ratio
ensures an outstanding learning environment. Students in the Lower
School attend special area classes throughout the week. These
classes include Spanish, Music, Art, Media Skills, and Physical
Education. The students in grades one through four participate in a weekly enrichment class called KABAMM (Kids at Beaufort Academy with Magnificent Minds.) Through KABAMM the students are provided with the opportunity to explore subject matters that are of interest to them that may not be taught in the classroom. An After- Care program is available Monday through Friday from 2:45 until 5:30 pm for our Pre-Kinder 3 students through 4 grades for an additional fee. Students on the main campus are bused to the Kinder building after their school day is complete. We have two highly compentent staff members who run the program. Children complete homework, have a snack, and participate in unstructured play both inside and out! ![]() |
