The PreK and Kindergarten students are provided with an excellent core foundation of skills which will help them to become successful students throughout their academic career. The classrooms provide a variety of learning experiences through hands-on activities, field trips, projects, and much more! The low student to teacher ratio ensures an outstanding learning environment. Students in the PreK and Kindergarten programs attend special area classes throughout the week. These classes include Spanish, Music, Art, Media Skills, and Physical Education. **Beaufort Academy does offer a full-time OR part-time option for PreK-3 and PreK-4. Full-time is Monday-Friday, 8am-2:45pm and part-time is Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. **Beaufort Academy's Kindergarten is full-time - Monday-Friday, 8am-2:45pm. An After- Care program is available Monday through Friday from 2:45 until 5:30 pm for our Pre-Kinder 3 students through 4 grades for an additional fee. Students on the main campus are bused to the Kinder building after their school day is complete. We have two highly competent staff members who run the program. Children complete homework, have a snack, and participate in unstructured play both inside and out! Please contact the Admissions Office for additional details.
