The Beaufort Academy lacrosse teams practice and compete at the middle school and JV levels during the spring season. The teams consist of male students in grades 6-12, and practice at BA.

As a beginner sport, BA Lacrosse will take to the field in 2008 with both middle and upper school teams. Building on last year's multiple win season, the middle school squad should remain competitive with area teams. The upper school team, despite adding new recruits and upperclassmen, may take some lumps this season as it will play a true JV schedule and may even take on some varsity squads. While the coaching staff will continue to stress fundamentals and ball control, both teams will have to learn set offense, defense, riding, and clearing formations.

The middle school team will practice three times a week while the upper school team will practice five times a week. Both teams will have between 5 and 7 games on weekends throughout February, March, and April.
