The Beaufort Academy girls basketball teams compete in the Winter Season. The three teams, Varsity, JV and Middle School, consist of female students in grades 6-12, and all practice at BA.

Varsity
A common saying among the team is: "You shoot to get hot and shoot to stay hot!" The varsity team has improved in the last few years, and reached the state tournament in its most recent season. Three years ago they averaged 24 points a game, last year 37 points a game, and this year they averaged 44 points a game. In the 2007-2008 season their win-lose record was 15-13, but thanks to great fans they dominated at home with a record of 9-2!

While aiming for those goals we want to continue to build team relationships, remember we are student athletes with students being first, continue to support the community and remember our goal the first year I arrived as coach at BA, have fun!" Junior Varsity
The JV team is open for 7th to 10th grade girls. It develops the players fundamentals and prepares them for higher levels of basketball. It emphasizes teamwork they will use throughout their high school careers.

Middle School
The team is open to female students in grades 6-8. All experience levels are welcome! The program is aimed at the development of skills, teamwork, self confidence and the love of the game. The team typically plays a 12-16 game schedule.
