SC Education Trust Fund Program (ESTF)

The South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF) is a state scholarship of $7,500 which could be applied towards K-12 private school tuition for low to moderate income bearing families. Students rising Kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible. If your household income is less than $161,000 a year with a household of 4, you may qualify! (See FPL below for more details.)

Join us on Tuesday, October 28 at 4pm in the Beaufort Academy Library to learn more about South Carolina's new K-12 scholarship program, the Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF) and how it can help your family. Parents in the Beaufort community are welcome to attend this information session at the Beaufort Academy Library, featuring Palmetto Promise's Teshia McIver.

We'll walk through what the program is, who is eligible, how to apply, and how parents can prepare in advance to make sure their application is among the first in line. Whether you are a 2025-26 ESTF recipient needing to renew your participation for next year, or whether you are a family looking at applying for ESTF for the very first time, this meeting is for you! RSVP here.

Applications open for priority groups January 15, 2026. Priority groups include active duty military families, current/prior public school students, and households at or below 300% FPL. Limited scholarships available. Contact Lisa Gallagher, Director of Admissions to learn how this grant can help your family choose a private school education for the 26-27 school year.
