Welcome to Beaufort Academy

We are delighted to know of your interest in Beaufort Academy for your child.
Because class sizes are limited and the program is advanced for all grades, admission to Beaufort Academy is competitive, therefore contact Admissions first to confirm class availability. Our admissions team is ready to help guide your family through the enrollment process.

Beaufort Academy is excited to begin working with prospective families starting in October for admission the following fall. Current students have priority in re-enrollment, then new siblings. Following this, we enter our Rolling Admission phase, where we will consider all applicants on an individual basis, and start accepting students in January until August as long as space remains in a class.

About Our Admissions Process

The goal of our admission process at Beaufort Academy is to help parents make the best educational decisions possible for their children. We work closely with families to assess each applicant’s needs and abilities as well as to determine if we are the best match for each child.

The process is simplest for applicants to the Pre-K and Kindergarten programs who visit the school, submit an application, and take part in basic in-person assessments that help determine readiness to enter the next grade level. The admission process for grades 1-12 is more comprehensive and includes a new student application, teacher recommendations, student assessment and interview and demonstrated success in the previous academic year.

While the admission process may vary slightly according to the age and grade of each child, an online new student application is the first step in the admissions process for each child.

Admission at Beaufort Academy typically includes the following steps:
