We are SO excited to welcome both new siblings and new families to BA this August. We look forward to having you as part of the BA family and look forward to a great school year. 
We remain as committed as ever to our belief that the role of our school is to offer children opportunities to form lasting friendships and develop independence and confidence in their emerging social and academic abilities. Your child will have a wonderful experience next year and we are so pleased you have chosen our school for your family. 

Beaufort Academy believes communication between parents and the school is key. We may be a small school, but we have just as many activities and accomplishments as any other institution. We do our best to inform parents of campus events, fundraisers, photos, spirit nights, athletic events, and so on. As you transition from the admissions process to an enrolled family, we want to make that journey as easy as possible and answer any questions you may have. The information and links below will help prepare you for the upcoming year. Please check back often for updates throughout the summer!

  • Communication

    Blackbaud is our online database where all student records are kept, from allergies to addresses, contracts to billing. The Blackbaud Parent Dashboard is where you can view your child(ren)'s grades and attendance, pay your tuition bill and fill out forms. You can use Blackbaud on any device, be sure to bookmark this link!  If you received an invite from Blackbaud, please accept.  If you have an additional parent or guardian to be added, please let me know as soon as possible. Only submitted emails and contacts will receive updates and invites to Blackbaud. **PLEASE do not create an account, you can only be invited to Beaufort Academy's portal.**

    ParentSquare is the hub of all BA communication; between you and your student(s), classrooms, teachers, and groups regarding all of the things happening at BA; from sports and school closings to field trips and fundraisers, supply lists, textbook lists, along with other back to school information. You can download the free ParentSquare mobile app for Android or iOS and you can also use it from a computer at: www.parentsquare.com. Be sure to download the ParentSquare app, and accept the invitation so you don’t skip a beat! If you received an invite from ParentSquare, please accept.  If you have an additional parent or guardian to be added, please let me know as soon as possible.   • Billing

    26-27 monthly billing starts May 1, 2026. If you need to edit your payment plan or ACH account on file, please contact Tracy Dolin in the business office at tdolin@beaufortacademy.org as soon as possible. If you are on monthly or bi-annual billing, your one time tuition refund insurance was billed and must be paid in full by June 30.   • Student Allergy, Medications & Immunizations

     If your child has an allergy or takes medication, please complete a FARE form ASAP. It is important for us to have a copy of their updated South Carolina immunization record on file before they start school. Your doctor’s office may email immunization records directly to the school. If I have the latest copy, please disregard, but if they are not on a South Carolina form or have changed since you've given me a copy, be sure to send our way. If you are just moving to the area, please make an appointment with a pediatrician or DHEC upon your arrival to update to a proper South Carolina form. This document is needed before your student attends BA.

  • Preschool

    PRESCHOOL REMINDERS:
    • School Hours
    • Bring any forms that need to be submitted such as Hard Copy forms, FARE plan, medical, Eagle's Nest registration, Junior Eagle Eats, etc.  
    • The list of personal supplies needed are attached. 
    • 🚫 Remember: Our preschool building is completely nut-free.
    • Please plan to bring lunch the first week of school, as school lunch ordering does not start until August Monday August, 18.
      Junior Eagle Eats lunch order forms are due by Monday, 8/11. You can only order once for the year, get your orders in time! 
    • If you have not completed the required back to school forms on Blackbaud yet, please do so as soon as possible.
    • Updated immunizations must be submitted to the school before the first day of school.
    • New students will receive a BA crest t-shirt the first week of school, but if you would like to purchase more BA gear, you can do so on our website here.

  • Middle School (Grades 6-8)

    • School starts at 8am, and students may arrive as early as 7:30am. Middle & Upper school dismisses at 2:45pm. Students may wear white, navy, or light blue collared tops with khaki or navy bottoms. On Fridays, students may wear any BA t-shirt with uniform bottoms. See below for more details on our dress code.
    Middle School Reminders:

    • Middle & Upper School hours are 8:00 am - 2:45 pm and their schedule includes a homeroom, six academic periods, an outdoor morning break and a lunch. Each grade will be split into two class sections with 10-16 students per class. Individual schedules will be posted in Blackbaud early August, and copies of schedules will be shared on Back to school night.
    • There is one additional fee that will be charged in August for students in grades 6-12. The math & science fee is a flat charge of $35 to cover all additional items needed for these two classes.  The flat fee will be added to your August monthly payment and will be automatically deducted on the date you chose to be drafted in August. If you are an annual pay, please go into your Blackbaud account to pay this fee as soon as possible.
    • Back to School Night: We will host a back to school night on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2pm where students may meet their teachers, classmates and become familiar with their new school. Please plan to be there!
