Financial Aid

Financial aid may be granted to qualified families for students rising Kindergarten through 12th grade who demonstrate academic promise and financial need. Preschool tuition is not eligible for financial aid.  If you feel you need financial assistance, please contact the Admissions Office before applying for aid.

Please note the financial aid process is an additional step in the Admissions process and a seat cannot be held due to a pending financial assistance award. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open on December 1.

Beaufort Academy is strongly committed to seeking diversity within its student body and providing access to a BA education for deserving students regardless of financial circumstances. Roughly 33% of our students receive financial aid each year. Unfortunately, our funds are not limitless so it is given on a first-come, first-served basis granted based on available funds.

Financial aid grants are awarded on an annual basis. The application process must be repeated each year a student is enrolled at BA, at which time the Financial Aid Committee evaluates the family's financial status, payment history, the student’s academics, disciplinary, and other records at school.

Normally, a family should expect that financial aid will be continued through a student’s career, but the Financial Aid Committee is empowered to increase or reduce the amount of the annual award based on changes in the family’s financial status, the student’s performance at BA, or both. Unfortunately, our funds are not limitless so it is given on a first-come, first-served basis following deadlines for the school year.
